Cottage West
Welcome to Cottage West! This cute two bedroom one bath bungalow has comfortable beds, a Roku tv, ample desk space, a room devoted to yoga (or just sipping coffee), and so much more! You will find everything conveniently labeled, including basic over the counter analgesics, items you would typically find in your own home (feminine products, qtips, toothbrushes and toothpaste), a kitchen with cookware, utensils, and spices, and an eclectic collection of books in our lending library.

You will feel at home here. Put your feet up, enjoy the fireplace (electric, so easy!) and crack open a book. Draw on our chalkboard table! Relax and unwind with a bit of yoga (or wine, there's an easy peasy wine opener on the wall). And if the sounds of the city are too much, pop in a pair of earplugs provided on the bedside table. Enjoy the comfort of flannel sheets in the winter and cool cotton in the summer.

A 1910 Bungalow Awaits You
Outside is a small front yard that connects to a far larger yard. You are more than welcome to walk through the grounds and even jump on the trampoline! The front porch is welcoming and there is an antique glider to enjoy during the warmer weather.
Tree of Life desk
Directly to your left upon entering, you will find a long desk. Perfect for working at, it also contains the Guest Handbook as well as spare pens, sunglasses, and even stationery in the drawers. The tree of life design was created by owner, artist and local author Christine Shuck.
Roomy Kitchen
The former dining room, this room now serves as a dine in kitchen. Move the table away from the wall and add to more chairs. Voila! Table for four!
Bedroom #1
This bedroom contains a queen-size bed, as well as a large armoire for your clothing and storage needs. Both bedrooms are equipped with digital alarm clocks that have built-in USB chargers. You will also find individually-wrapped earplugs - city life can be noisy at times and we want you to have a peaceful sleep!
Dirty Laundry? We've Got You Covered!
The former kitchen turned utility room is equipped with a washer and dryer, as well as a wire kennel for your furbabies should you need it. Speaking of babies, we also have a high chair and pack 'n play here should you need it.
Take a nice, long soak...
A favorite with guests, this antique claw foot tub doubles as a shower, but let's be honest, there's nothing quite as nice as a long, luxurious soak. Bubble bath is provided!
A Trip to the 1930s
The original metal cabinets and double sink combined with the more modern conveniences of a full stove & oven & refrigerator make meal prep easy.
Space to Meditate and Unwind
This sunny back porch is the perfect spot to sip coffee, unroll one of the yoga mats, and relax. We will be rebuilding the back stairs and landing in 2022, and providing access to the backyard along with a BBQ grill. Coming soon!
Bedroom #2
This bedroom contains a full-size bed that has been reported as "the best night sleep [they] they have ever had." There are also plenty of books and magazines on the bookshelf next to the bed to keep you entertained.
Warm and Inviting
A 60" Roku TV, complete with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and CuriousityStream awaits you. So does the lending library, an electric fireplace, and photo books on Cottage West's transformation from abandoned to well-loved. It's a story you will enjoy reading about!
