It's About Time

I'm not making any promises about how often I will be posting here, but I think it is high time I added a blog to my website. Years ago, I had multiple blogs - one that focused on our garden/home. Another on homeschooling, and of course the one on my author website. These days, life is simpler. Well, no, not simpler. Consolidated.

In any case, I know I can handle a second blog, no sweat. Especially when I have something to say that is STR-related.

I'm likely going to keep it short and sweet. My focus will be on:

• Letting folks know about upcoming improvements

• When certain things are in bloom in the garden

• Recent reviews and feedback

• And occasionally... personal stuff

Life is busy around here, but it might be fun for you to see some of the in progress photos as we move towards renovating our third short-term rental - Cottage East. This project is going to take a couple of years. Since we are saving for the fixes on it as we go, I anticipate that we will be completely done with renovations in approximately two years. By January 2025, and possibly sooner than that, it should be fully open and ready for guests.

Meanwhile, it will be fun to document the process as we move from dilapidated to welcoming!
